The Education & Exams Office is looking for a:
STUDENT AFFAIRS OFFICER/SCHEDULER (1,00 FTE)
Maastricht University School of Business and Economics offers several MSc and BSc programmes in the area of Business and Economics in which the students can choose from a wide range of electives. Due to this freedom of choice, scheduling is a rather complex process. The scheduler is responsible for the planning and scheduling of all SBE courses and skills within the SBE MSc programmes, and provides information and assistance to students and staff regarding their schedules as required.
Furthermore, the position involves frequent correspondence with course coordinators and tutors. Scheduling also involves composing the frame schedules, attendance sheets, compiling facts and figures for the Management Team and acting as a backup keyuser in the scheduling organisation.
- HBO education and working level; experience with or affinity for students and scheduling; proficient MS Excel skills are a must; experience with the Syllabus+ and SAP-SLcM software programs is a plus.
- The language of communication at SBE is English, therefore excellent proficiency in English (orally and written) as well as (the willingness to learn) Dutch is needed.
- We are looking for someone who is flexible, independent, accurate, immune to stress, but above all customer friendly. If you are a trouble shooter who likes to puzzle and solve problems, you are the colleague we are looking for.
This is a one-year position in the UFO job profile ‘Medewerker Studentzaken’, level 2, with a possibility to extend the appointment. Remuneration will be according to standard salary levels, depending on education and relevant work experience. This implies a gross monthly salary in scale 8 of the Collective Labour Agreement of Dutch Universities (€ 2.465,00 - € 3.292,00 per month). Each year, the standard salary is supplemented with a holiday allowance of 8% and an end-of-year bonus of 8.3%.
