CREDIT RISK ANALYST (0.8-1.0 FTE)
As our Credit Risk Officer, you play an important role ensuring that OCI Nitrogen collaborates with financially healthy and reliable partners in order to strengthen its financial position, on the short and long term.
Your main task is to assess the creditworthiness of (potential) customers and suppliers by collecting and analyzing relevant info (reports, ratings, trends etc.). You translate your assessment into a credit rating, which is essential in determining to what extent we partner with an external party and against which financial limits: You advise to and collaborate with sales, accounting and control to define an answer on these questions. Furthermore, you report and present data with regard to credit management (credit exposure levels, country level developments) to signal certain credit risk developments, therewith enabling management to make the right business decisions.
Next to that, you work closely with your team members of Treasury & Credit and it is expected of you to support each other in achieving the team goals. This means that you also perform treasury and cash management activities. As this team constantly seeks to improve the added value of team Treasury & Credit, you change your own job over time as you initiate and execute various projects, not least on technical developments and possibilities with regard to data and digitalization.
You have attained a finance, economic or business related degree (at least Bachelor level) with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience within a finance related position in the profit sector. Preferably this experience is treasury/credit related. You possess strong analytical skills and have affinity with process/system improvements and data analytics. Moreover, you speak and write proper English and Dutch.
Furthermore, you have a continuous improvement mindset, have an appetite to challenge the status quo, are curious and driven to make the most of every day. As a strong communicator, you pro-actively seek contact with relevant stakeholders inside or outside our organization. Most of all, you are a natural team player (must!) who is helpful to colleagues and always strives to achieve win-win situations.
We offer a rewarding and challenging job with lots of opportunities for personal input and growth in a dynamic environment. Moreover, you will work in an open atmosphere and will be part of a team with a good sense of humor. Terms and benefits are up to market standards.
