We have recently been able to add AdBlue to our product portfolio. AdBlue is a solution used in diesel engines to reduce harmful emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx).

Your Challenge
As our Transport Coordinator, it is your challenge to ensure an efficient and effective Inland waterway by planning, organizing, monitoring and evaluating the inland waterway transport in order to minimize logistic costs and maximize customer satisfaction.

The main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Produces a harbor planning by dividing available tons of product among the capacity and availability of ships, in line with waterway capacities and constraints.
  • Organizes transport by aligning demand and supply if needed and settling agreements with carriers (suppliers) and customers concerning the logistical completion of product delivery.
  • Monitors the status of shipment and storage (in depots) and gives support to these processes in order to ensure an optimal order flow.
  • Evaluates the performance of suppliers, decides whether payment of services is justified and reports supplier performance.
Who are we looking for
You are looking for motivated candidates with Intermediate Vocational Education+ level in Supply Chain or Logistics ideally complemented with several years of relevant work experience, preferably knowledge of European Inland waterways and relevant business processes (OTC). Through your proactive attitude, high stress tolerance, customer focus and result orientation, you always strive for an adequate solution to customer and carrier. You have skills in MS Office and SAP SD. Furthermore, we expect that you have excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Dutch, required for proper coordination between the various parties involved. Communication skills in German is a pro.
