Your Responsibilities
As a Quality Assurance Assistant (QA Assistant) for electronic devices, your specific tasks and responsibilities include ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards:
- Inspection and Testing: Conduct quality checks and inspections on electronic devices to ensure they meet specified standards and specifications, including both visual inspections and functional tests.
- Fault Analysis and Correction: Identify defects or deficiencies in products, analyze causes, and assist in the development and implementation of corrective actions. Collaborate with engineers and technicians to resolve technical issues.
- Documentation: Create and maintain quality reports, test logs, and other relevant documentation, including documenting test procedures and results.
- Support in Developing Test Plans: Assist in the creation and revision of test plans and procedures for electronic devices to ensure all relevant quality criteria are covered.
- Monitoring Production Processes: Oversee production lines to ensure that production processes meet quality requirements. This includes checking compliance with safety and environmental standards.
- Calibration and Maintenance of Test Equipment: Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated and maintained to guarantee accurate and reliable test results.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at continuously improving quality controls and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce defect rates.
- Communication: Collaborate and communicate with other departments, such as production, development, and customer service, to ensure all quality requirements and issues are addressed promptly and effectively.
Your Profile
- Based near Kerkrade, The Netherlands
- MTS Electronica education or equivalent
- Solid background in electronics and mechanical knowledge
- Experience with lighting equipment is preferred
- Fast learner and open to acquiring new skills
- Fluent in Dutch and English
- Team mindset, self-motivated, and positive attitude
