For our global technical sales division within ROCKWOOL, we are looking for an international Customer Service employee.

Our customer service hubs for the European market are located in Netherlands (Roermond), Denmark (near Copenhagen) and Italy (Milan). At our location in Roermond, where our export customer service team is also located, we are looking for an experienced customer service employee to complete the LAT team (France, Italy, Spain and Portugal). Within this role you represent Rockwool-TI and are a key point of contact for our French customer base and are supporting the other markets during peak moments and back up periods. You make sure customer needs and expectations are taken care of in the best possible way, always with the best interest of the customer in mind.

Because you operate in an international environment a good command of the English language is just as important as the French language and at least a conversational level in Spanish or Italian.

What will you be doing?
  • Providing advice, support and after-sales services to our French customers via email and on the phone;
  • Support and back up team members working on other markets;
  • Enter, process and monitor customer orders in SAP;
  • Aligning with the logistics and production departments of multiple Rockwool factories on production and delivery times;
  • Complaint handling including registration and internal follow-up;
Where will you work?
You will join our technical sales division, which specializes in insulation for customers worldwide in the process industry and the marine and offshore segment and is currently orienting itself towards new (green) markets (think of substations at wind farms and CO2 storage at sea or solar power plants). Your workplace is in Roermond where another 20 direct colleagues from the technical sales division work. The other 70 colleagues with over 30 different nationalities are spread around the globe.

From Roermond, you and your colleagues will ensure that the requests from our international customers are dealt with properly, efficiently and to the customer's satisfaction. The team does not evade complex issues either and together we ensure a good solution. Working from home is possible for a maximum of one day a week. You report to the Customer Service Manager Europe also located in Roermond and with whom you are in close contact.

What do we require?
  • Strong communicator and an excellent command of the English and French language in word and writing is required;
  • A good command of either Italian or Spanish is needed to be able to support your direct colleagues. Dutch, German and/or other languages are an advantage;
  • A high degree of service orientation and maximum customer focus;
  • Work experience in a customer service environment and/ or knowledge of SAP in an international B2B environment is an advantage.
